I’ve been getting a lot of questions recently in the fashion of, “Can Google Knol make money?”, and the answer to that question is yes, yes it can!
To make money with Google Knol, you first need to create a knol. You do this by signing in with your gmail account and registering with Google’s ads publishing program, Adsense. Once you publish your knol and adsense is enabled, ads will appear next to your content that is in relation to your topic. You earn money when someone is interested in the ad and clicks on it to learn more about it.
How much money will you get paid per click? That depends on the topic, every one is different. For example, an ad for car insurance would give much more money per click than ads about free wallpapers. Write a couple of knols about different topics to find out which ones are best for you.

Creating and writing a knol is very simple, and this step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the process. It only takes two steps.
1. Visit Google’s Knol page and at the top right hand corner click the “Write a Knol” button.

Once signed in you will be presented with an easy-to-use interface similar to a blog. Fill in the appropriate fields such at title, summary, etc. and write your knol content. Once finished, click the “Publish” button located in the right menu. Congratulations! You have now written your first knol!

For those of you looking to make money with knols, the most profitable categories of topics are those that are also highly contested keywords on the Internet.
